About the Event

REMEMBER SCHEDULE: Saturday, June 19th - Juneteenth

Part I: 10AM-1PM (PDT) VIRTUAL EVENT

When it comes to setting the rules for our lives, we want the freedom to vote. While some politicians are attempting to create barriers to voting that discriminate against voters based on our color, background, or zip code, we will show you how you can help protect and strengthen our freedom to vote so we all have an equal say in our future.

Part II: 2PM-5PM Film screening and dialogue of Mississippi Burning

About the film: Two FBI agents investigating the murder of civil rights workers (Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner) during the 60s seek to breach the conspiracy of silence in a small Southern town where segregation divides black and white. The younger agent trained in FBI school runs up against the small town ways of his former Sheriff partner.
